Dr. Patra is a Senior Consultant Diabetologist. With an experience of more than 17 years and a mission to make Diabetes Care Accessible, Available & Affordable.

He has been awarded the Diabetes India Award 2022, the Most Innovative & Iconic Diabetologist of the year 2022, Seva Ratna Award, Odisha State 2022, young investigator award. Apart from being an excellent diabetologist, he has authored the Medical Textbook Chapter (RSSDI Textbook of Diabetes Mellitus, LADA, Chapter 16, 5th Edn, 2022). He was the Co-Investigator of TP-DOS Study an interim Analysis presented at ACP India Conference 2022, Vizag & ESC Asia Conference 2022, Singapore.

Not only that he is also a member of the American College of Physicians(ACP), the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), the Research Society for the study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), and the Indian Podiatry Association (IPA). He has also been a part of many television and Radio programs for enhancing public awareness of Diabetes care. He has published multiple journals in International/National Medical Journals.
